The title of the article is: Indole-3-carbinol prevents colitis and associated microbial dysbiosis in an IL-22-dependent manner. The article highlights research showing that a dietary compound (Indole-3-carbinol, I3C) was able to lessen disease burden in animal models of colitis, revealing a role of cytokine interleukin-22 (IL-22) in preventing colitis-associated microbial dysbiosis.
