2022 UofSC ASPIRE Award - Dr. Archana Saxena

Congratulations to Dr. Archana Saxena (postdoctoral fellow) for receiving the 2022 UofSC ASPIRE award. Her proposal focused on understanding the role of the aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) in regulated mucus production in colonic epithelial cells (e.g. goblet cells) during colitis. Her proposal was titled “Role of AhR in colonic epithelial cell (CEC)-mediated regulation of the IL-22 receptor expression during colitis“.
